MY grateful congratulations to the bin collectors for their work on Monday April 5. Although at the back of my mind I knew the bins needed to be put out, I was distracted by lengthy Easter Sunday Zoom calls with family. Early on Monday morning when I heard the large bin lorry, my heart sank. I d totally forgotten to put out the bins. I need not have worried. I rushed to the window to see the cheerful handling of the bins. T he men dashed back and forth, taking the bins from our house (five bins in all), emptying them and hurrying them back to the wall.
