Two people are dead and two others are injured after a car crashed into a tree in south suburban Hazel Crest early Saturday, village police said. The car, carrying four people, was traveling south on Wood Street around 2 a.m. when the car crashed into a tree near 169th Street, ejecting a passenger from one of the rear seats, police said. The driver of the car and the ejected passenger died. .
