Man who hit pedestrian to be sentenced next month
Ramsey man who hit a pedestrian on a crossing will be sentenced next month.
Forty-two-year-old Martin Huxley of Brookhill Road appeared before High Bailiff Jayne Hughes at Douglas courthouse.
He pleaded guilty to one count of causing serious bodily harm by driving without due care and attention.
Prosecution advocate Hazel Caroon told the court Huxley was driving a Citroen Berlingo along Woodbourne Road in Douglas at around 4.30pm on 12 October.
A man who d been studying at the Isle of Man College was crossing the road using a pedestrian crossing when Huxley hit him.
