Earning the $3,000 first prize this year is Daniel Lekan-Salami, age 17, of George Stevens Academy, who designed and coded an app to enable and expedite group-based problem solving in a chat-like interface. Daniel impressed the judges with his creativity, passion and tenacity to learn new code languages and his ability to solve challenges along the way.
