The Lenoir-Rhyne Volleyball Team was swept, 3-0 at Wingate on Tuesday evening despite a battle in the third set. The loss was the 15th straight for the Bears at Wingate, dating back to 2005. Match scores were 25-15, 25-20, 26-24.
The Bears started out slow in the first two sets but battled Wingate in the third. The Bears led 23-21 but weren’t able to close it out.
Taylor Prall led the Bears with 10 kills and added eight digs. Prall is now just 15 kills away from 1,000 for her career.
