As I can continue to search out some of the best Christmas Light displays and festivities in our region, you have to make the short hour-long drive from Texarkana to Mount Pleasant for the Boots and Bells Ole West Christmas in historic downtown.
The western-themed Boots and Bells Ole West Christmas will take you back to a time when cowboys and outlaws ruled the streets. Over one million lights adorn the town square streets, buildings, courthouse, businesses, throughout this quaint little Northeast Texas town. Lighted chuckwagons line the street corners and is reminiscent of a time long ago when pioneers and settlers called this home. Historic downtown Mount Pleasant is known for its specialty shops if you re looking for that unique holiday gift and if you get hungry, choose from some very nice eating places. Remember, COVID-19 guidelines are in place for businesses and restaurants.
