Mount Gay Distilleries Ltd. recently paid tribute to ten of its retirees and over 20 long-standing team members for their hard work and dedication during the company’s recognition awards ceremony.
Among the retirees were Pamela Greaves and Hayden Fields, who were with the company for 38 and 31 years, respectively. Also recognised were Angela Bennett and Marcia John who have both served 29 years; Ambadeen Watson – 24 years; Stevenson Hall – 23 years and Junes Haynes – 22 years. Sharon Cadogan, Claudia Freer and George Worrell, who collectively served over 40 years with the company, also received awards.
Those honoured for long service included Anthony Alleyne for 25 years, as well as Walter Gaskin, Valance Ward, Sheron Maynard and Andrew Walcott who have each been with the company for 20 years.
