Thirteen conservation groups have been announced as recipients of Biodiversity Hawke’s Bay’s Environmental Enhancement Contestable Fund to protect native species, preserve local ecosystems, and promote regional environmental restoration.
HBRC councillor and HBRIC Director Neil Kirton says the investment company has appointed Debbie Birch and Jonathan Cameron as new independent directors and is changing its investment approach.
The event is a joint safety initiative between Hawke’s Bay Regional Council, Roadsafe Hawke’s Bay, Hato Hone St Johns, Fire and Emergency NZ, and NZ Police. Over 2,000 Year 11-12 students from around the region will attend through their schools.
