Happy to spend hours and perhaps days discussing issues like we have raised in this public lands bill, but i dont think most of my cheetio colleagues are intern debating a reversionary clause for a parcel of land in downtown anchorage that can be sold that he they can have an opportunity in anchorage to build something new there. It just doesnt rise to that level of immediacy and concern. And so, again, we do the best we can to try to be balanced, to try to put together something that works for all. And it is it is a balancing act. It requires a level ive used the word ifinesse. If we were to have put together a package that was overly weighted towards new wilderness or new parks, not only would my constituents back home not support it, i couldnt support it. Few weeks. Mark had the responsibility of reforming the Consumer Product Safety Commission. It was long overdue. That commission was not exercising its authority and wasnt keeping americans safe as it should. Mark stepped up in a bipartisan fashion, he stepped up, and he ended up strengthening the Consumer Product Safety Commission through his efforts on the Senate Commerce committee. That will keep toxic toys out of stores. Many people recognize what mark pryor contributed in that effort. Parent magazine applauded mark pryor as one of the three movers and shakers in washington in 2005 for his work on the Consumer Product Safety Commission, work that will continue to keep america safer. Ms. Hanabusa this amendment is similar to one i offered last congress which was agreed to by voice vote this amendment simply adds to title 2 the planning for America Energy act of 2013, subsection 8 which mirrors the language found in a prior subsection addressing native American Tribal land. It requires the inclusion of Hawaiian Homes Commission Act land. As you know, hawaii is a unique situation in that in 1920, this congress created the Hawaiian Homes Commission Act.
