Brief - Water main flushing in Havre
From Havre Fire Department Havre Fire Department will be conducting hydrant flushing in the city of Havre starting next week. Hydrant flushing enhances water quality by flushing sediment from the water mains, verifies the proper operation of hydrants and valves and maintains firefighting capability. The flushing will be conducted Mondays, Tuesdays and Thursdays from today, May 17, through Monday, May 31, from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. Hydrants will be flushed in the areas of Main Street to Fourth Street and Ninth Avenue West to 24th Avenue East. This is the only section of town being flushed.
