eastern shore. and karen brown reports from north carolina. however, we begin with the weather portion of all of this. let s start with bob turk and meteorologist. let s talk about tropical storm. we haven t seen one of these in a long, long time. all around the bay, we have a tropical storm warning in effect from harford county to baltimore county, the city out through montgomery, all the way down to calvert. now, in st. mary s county, they have now been included in the hurricane warning as well as the lower eastern shore. all of the counties in delaware, new jersey, all of that area under hurricane warning. that means within 48 hours, we do expect to see perhaps hurricane conditions, winds better than 75 miles an hour. in those particular areas. the storm this afternoon, has moved in just a tad. the winds are at 100 miles an hour. now moving almost due north at around 14 miles an hour. and the pressure has come up. it s a category 2 storm. will end up in the carolinas ton
