Appeal – Homicide investigation, Pacific Haven
Detectives from Maryborough Criminal Investigation Branch (CIB) and the Homicide Investigation Unit (HIU) are continuing to seek public assistance as part of ongoing investigations into the suspicious death of 58-year-old Pacific Haven man, Mark Carson.
Mark was a respected member of his small community, a former volunteer rural fire fighter and passionate personal trainer when he died from a severe wound in Pacific Haven on April 3.
Detective Inspector Tim Leadbetter from the HIU said a large contingent of Homicide Detectives had engaged with the investigation and are continuing to maintain a presence on the Fraser Coast.

Police have spoken with a 42-year-old Maryborough man and 40-year-old Maryborough woman.
They would like to speak to anyone who may have noticed a light blue four-door 2011 Hyundai Accent sedan in the vicinity of the Walls Camp Road Boat Ramp and/or 262 Pacific Haven Drive Pacific Haven early on the morning of April 3.
Anyone with relevant dashcam or CCTV is also urged to come forward to police.
