MIRANSHAH: Two soldiers embraced martyrdom when Afghanistan-based terrorists attacked a checkpost in Dwatoi area in North Waziristan on Wednesday.
The sources said the terrorists opened fire on a military post in Dwatoi early in the day, martyring two soldiers. The Pakistan Army responded in a befitting manner, they added.
According to the Inter Services Public Relations in a statement, the shuhada include Havaldar Saleem, 43, and Lance Naik Pervaiz, 35. It is pertinent to mention here that Pakistan has consistently been asking Afghanistan to ensure effective border control on their side. Pakistan strongly condemns the continuous use of Afghan soil for terrorist activities against Pakistan.

NORTH/SOUTH WAZIRISTAN: Five soldiers were martyred and another five sustained injuries in two attacks late on Tuesday night. One of the attacks was carried out by terrorists based in Afghanistan.
Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR) said in a statement on Wednesday that terrorists from inside Afghanistan opened fire on a military post in the Dwatoi area of North Waziristan tribal district.
Troops responded in a befitting manner and during the exchange of fire two soldiers Havaldar Saleem, 43, and Lance Naik Pervaiz, 35 embraced martyrdom.

RAWALPINDI: Two soldiers of the Pakistan Army embraced martyrdom on Wednesday as they thwarted a terrorist attack from across the Afghan border on a military post in North Waziristan District.
“The terrorists from inside Afghanistan across the international border opened fire on a military post in Dwatoi, North Waziristan District,” the Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR) media release said. The Pakistan Army troops responded in a befitting manner to the terrorists’ attack.
The soldiers who embraced martyrdom during the exchange of fire were identified as Havaldar Saleem, 43, and Lance Naik Pervaiz, 35.
The ISPR statement said Pakistan has consistently been asking Afghanistan to ensure effective border control on their side. “Pakistan strongly condemns the continuous use of Afghan soil for terrorist activities against Pakistan,” it added.
