Little Coyote opening a second location on—where else?—Los Coyotes Diagonal • the Hi-lo

- ADVERTISEMENT - Now after one successful year, the owners are opening a second location on, appropriately enough, Los Coyotes Diagonal in East Long Beach, at the former home of the short-lived Lou & Mike’s restaurant, at 3500 Los Coyotes Diagonal. Strader and Leahy have a lot of experience in the food business and they opened Hatchet Hall, an American wood-fire restaurant in Venice in 2015. Instead, it’s takeout, shifting business models, and struggles to survive. We’ve lost loved ones and beloved businesses, but amidst the devastation and heartbreak of the past year, one thing that’s remained constant is the power of restaurants to comfort, to bring us together, even when we’re only able to order delivery and gather with the members of our immediate household. So we’re celebrating an exciting, eclectic array of establishments, new and old, that have nourished both our bodies and spirits. Bon appetit!
