May 27, 2021 James Kon His Majesty Sultan Haji Hassanal Bolkiah Mu’izzaddin Waddaulah ibni Al-Marhum Sultan Haji Omar ‘Ali Saifuddien Sa’adul Khairi Waddien, Sultan and Yang Di-Pertuan of Brunei Darussalam has consented to the establishment of the Palestine Humanitarian Fund 2021 from May 26 to August 23, following an agreement between the Ministry of Culture, Youth and Sports (MCYS), together with the Ministry of Foreign Affairs (MoFA), the Ministry of Home Affairs (MoHA) and the Ministry of Religious Affairs (MoRA). The establishment of the humanitarian fund will allow the public to make monetary contributions in a direct and transparent manner, while also enabling various parties to organise charity and welfare activities for the victims in Palestine.
