Get email notification for articles from Haaretz Follow Jul. 17, 2021 3:37 AM A 35-year-old man was shot and killed and a 15-year-old boy was mildly wounded in the southern Bedouin village of Hura on Friday as gun violence continues to claim more lives in Israel s Arab community.   Police said they have launched an investigation into the incident. It appears that the man and the youth were sitting in a vehicle parked on Hura s main street when the shooting took place. The man was taken to Soroka Medical Center in Be’er Sheva, where he was pronounced dead. The police said they had received reports of gunshots and that a brawl erupted on Hura s main street before arriving at the scene.
