The government is trying hard to develop agriculture sector on modern scientific lines as the stability of national economy is directly associated with prosperity of farmers, said Punjab Minister for Agriculture Hasnain Jahanian Gardezi. Addressing a meeting of Agriculture Department officials and farmers at Gojra on Saturday, he underlined that the first priority of Prime Minister Imran Khan was to resolve the problems of growers and provide maximum relief to them. “In this regard, the government is introducing modern technology in the sector as it will help increase per acre production,” he added.
