Bulgaria s President Rumen Radev has expressed his condolences to Britain s Queen Elizabeth II and the royal family on the death of Prince Philip in an official letter. Photo: bnt.bg The Haskovo District Prosecutor s Office has initiated pre-trial proceedings over trafficking of large amounts of a narcotic substance across the border of this country.
On January 25, at the border with Greece near Svilengrad, 8 bags containing 72 packages of amphetamine were found in blackberry bushes between two border landmarks along the Kanakliyska River. Amphetamine with a total weight of 183.640 kg is worth about 2.8 million euros, the Ministry of Interior reported.
