Countrywide Promoters: According to an official statement, the authority observed that despite mandatory provisions under Section 11(2) and 13(1) of the Real Estate (Regulation and Development) Act 2016, the promoter did not describe the details in a proper manner in the advertisement, which is a punishable offence under the Section 61 of the Act.
The move comes after Haryana Real Estate Regulatory Authority (HARERA) made a recommendation to the secretary DFS to issue instruction to all banks to ensure compliance of RERA norms while allowing withdrawal of funds from RERA accounts by promotors of real estate projects.
More than hundred allottees of Ocean Seven Buildtech s Expressway Towers project in Gurgaon protested at the H-Rera office demanding early completion of the project. The developer clarifies the need for additional funds to complete the project.
