Amid the ongoing row over Baba Ramdev s statements against allopathy, Haryana Health Minister Anil Vij announced to provide one lakh Ayurveda-based Coronil kits to coronavirus patients in the state free of cost. Vij informed in a tweet that half of the cost of the kits has been borne by Patanjali and the other half by the state government from the Covid Relief Fund. Each kit contains three items Coronil tablets, Swasari Vati and Anu Taila.Thanking the Haryana government, Baba Ramdev said other states should also come forward to make the state free from coronavirus. Patanjali is committed to stand for a cause, he added.

Chandigarh (Haryana) [India], May 24 (ANI): Haryana Health MinisterAnil Vij on Monday informed the state has received 550 vials of Amphotericin B, a drug used to treat black fungus, from the Centre and more will be received today. We received 550 vials (of Amphotericin B) a day before yesterday from the Centre. Earlier, we procured 600 vials by ourselves. We will get more injections today, Vij told ANI.
Being asked about shopkeepers protest on lockdown restrictions, he said, Positivity rate is around 9 per cent. Until it reaches close to 5 per cent we cannot lift restrictions. Delhi and Uttar Pradesh are also under lockdown.

The Haryana government has decided to impose a complete lockdown in the state to arrest the spread of Covid-19. According to state minister Anil Vij, the restrictions will come into effect on Monday (May 3) and will remain in place for the next seven days. Complete lockdown to be imposed in Haryana for 7 days from May 3, Vij, state s Health Minister, said.
The decision was taken in view of the worsening Covid-19 situation in the landlocked state. All essential services will, however, be allowed during the lockdown period. The state government had earlier announced a weekend curfew in nine worst-hit districts.
Haryana on Saturday registered its biggest single-day jump of 125 deaths due to COVID-19, raising the toll to 4,341, while 13,588 fresh cases pushed the infection count to 5,01,566.
