The tourism industry in Maharashtra has taken a severe beating due to the COVID-19.
In Aurangabad, tourist buses in Aurangabad have been standing vacant for the last 18 months owing to the pandemic induced lockdown. Jaswant Singh Rajput, president of Aurangabad Tourism Development Foundation urged the state government to implement tax incentives in order to mitigate the damage caused to the sector. We demand tax incentive from State govt to overcome the financial losses, he said.
