Our photographer captured the water shooting about 60 feet into the air. This is going on for quite awhile. It took the crews more than an hour to turn off the water. It all happened on 30th avenue right at the edge of Pine Lake Park and stern grove. Jose martinez has more tonight from nervous neighbors who live on the top of the hillside. Students deserve and our families expect, we must have fewer schools than we do now. By having fewer schools, we can concentrate our resources and enhance program, teacher support, and student services. Superintendent is expected to make recommendations this fall on which schools to close, to merge, or to what they call, colocate. The full changes are slated to be in full effect in the 2025 school year. Earlier this week, San Franciscos Teachers Union released a report blaming most of the Financial Issues on years of district mismanagement. The report says the district spends nearly twice the state average per student on administrative costs. The union said management should examine Office Spending before making painful cuts to school sites. Making the financial situation worse, the School District is giving up on a faulty payroll system after spending more than 30 million trying to fix it. And vote with a provisional ballot. Only one statewide pressure on the ballot. Prop 1. A multibillion measure to address Mental Health and homelessness. The 6. 3 billion bond will help the state create more treatment beds for people struggling with addiction and Mental Health. There is the only statewide pressure on the ballot. It is a big part of governor newsoms plan to get people off of the streets and into treatment. He joins San Franciscos mayor and da today to try to get out the vote. We spoke to a member of the California Teachers Association board of directors who supports prop one. Providing Mental Health resources for people in need. Any educator can tell you what it means to have a student in their class who can not focus on the academic aspect of the classroom because they are worried about where they are sleeping or what problems that their parents may have or someone else in their family. And this wednesday afternoon making it up to 90 degrees in morgan hill. The temperatures did climb up close to 90 degrees inland in the east bay. Also in the upper 80s and redwood city. Halfmoon bay going to be a good dozen degrees above tomorrow. We had 90 degree readings, 90 degrees in navado and made it up to 91 degrees. An earthquake shook Northern California today near delta town 30 miles south of sacramento. That is across from places bike pittsburg and antioch.
