REHOBOTH BEACH, Del. – Delaware State Police arrested a Millsboro man Tuesday afternoon following a traffic stop in Rehoboth Beach.
At around 3:15 p.m., troopers conducting proactive patrol at the intersection of Coastal Highway and Miller Road observed a Kia Sportage SUV with an expired temporary registration plate. A computer inquiry confirmed that the temporary registration plate was expired and the vehicle should not be on the roadway.
The trooper followed the vehicle and observed multiple traffic violations before initiating a stop in the Lighthouse Plaza Boulevard shopping center. Contact was made with the driver, who was later confirmed to be 76-year-old Harvey Manley through a computer check.
