A midcentury home designed by the same architect behind St. Petersburg's famed "Inverted Pyramid Pier" is now on the market in the Driftwood neighborhood.
Lela Lilyquist thinks this story should be an obituary. It would be about the death of what she calls the final oak tree canopy and sizeable green space in the sprawling suburb of Brandon. The mourners would be the community’s 115,000 residents who won’t get the chance for an outdoor respite, or to pause on a bench beneath the grand oaks, or to throw down a blanket and watch the Fourth of July .
