BRIDGEPORT - When the city of Bridgeport needed an impartial monitor to keep elections honest, a judge picked Maximino Medina Jr.
Now Medina is a candidate for a state judgeship.
On Wednesday Gov. Ned Lamont nominated 15 candidates, including the former Bridgeport Board of Education president, to the Superior Court bench.
“Max Medina is an excellent candidate to be nominated for a judgeship,” said state Sen. Marilyn Moore. “I have known him for more than 30 years. He is thoughtful, direct and respected.
