Drinking water crisis hit Reang villages
Drinking water crisis has hit 6 Reang villages under Ampi nagar RD block. At least 10 Solar powered submersible drinking water machines are lying defective in 5 ADC villages under Ampi nagar Gumati Tripura. A section of Reang inhabitants of those villages raised allegation over the TRP & PTG department for not taking any initiative for maintenance of those defective solar powered submersible machines. Reportedly in this dry season almost all the natural drinking water sources in the Reang habitations have been dried up. Many of the solar powered submersible drinking water project machines which were installed by the TRP & PTG department of Ampi nagar branch earlier are lying defective in Jambuk Cherra ADC village, Gamai Cherra ADC village, East Taicholong ADC village, Ampi Cherra ADC village, North Songang ADC village and Ekjan Cherra ADC village.
