WALLINGFORD, CT Wallingford-based Anthem Blue Cross and Blue Shield of Connecticut is helping to combat food insecurity and support mental health in the state by donating an additional $100,000 this month to four local organizations, according to officials. Anthem Blue Cross and Blue Shield in Connecticut, in partnership with its foundation, is increasing its total commitment in the state to $1.5 million with an additional $100,000 donation across four organizations focused on food insecurity and mental health in Connecticut including Hartford Behavioral Health, Hartford Communities That Care, Connecticut Food Bank and Foodshare.
