Bollywood drugs nexus: NCB grills Arjun Rampal for second time
Unravelling the Bollywood-drugs mafia links, the NCB has arrested more than two dozen people so far, including film personalities, drug peddlers, financers, suppliers, etc.

MUMBAI: For the second time in a month, the Narcotics Control Bureau on Monday grilled model-turned-actor Arjun Rampal in the ongoing probe into the drugs nexus with Bollywood being probed by the central agency, officials said here.
Rampal, 47, was summoned last week, but he had written to the NCB seeking time till December 22, citing some personal commitments.
Earlier, he was interrogated for nearly 7 hours on November 13 after the NCB raided his home and took away nearly a dozen electronic gadgets besides some (medical) tablets.
Rampal had earlier sought additional time from the anti-drug abuse body to appear for the probe. Arjun Rampal reaches NCB office in Mumbai 
Mumbai: Actor Arjun Rampal reached the Narcotics Control Bureau (NCB) office in Mumbai, Maharashtra on Monday. He was summoned by the agency to appear before it for questioning in a drug case. Rampal had on Wednesday sought additional time till December 21 from the anti-drug abuse body to appear for the probe.
The NCB had on November 9 conducted a raid at the actor s residence and seized some electronic gadgets. Rampal s girlfriend Gabriella Demetriades was later questioned for six hours on the same day.

Mumbai: For the second time in a month, the Narcotics Control Bureau Monday grilled model-turned-actor Arjun Rampal in the ongoing probe into the drugs nexus with Hindi film industry being probed by the central agency, officials said here.
Rampal, 47, was summoned last week, but he had written to the NCB seeking time till December 22, citing some ‘personal’ commitments.
Earlier, he was interrogated for nearly 7 hours November 13 after the NCB raided his home and took away nearly a dozen electronic gadgets besides some (medical) tablets.
Later, he had told mediapersons that he has handed over a medical prescription of a particular painkiller which the NCB took up for prescription.

The NCB had conducted a raid at the actor s residence last month and summoned Rampal for the second time after it found more evidence.
Rampal was grilled by the NCB for around seven hours on November 13 after the arrest of his Australian friend Paul Bartel in the case. Bartel was reportedly in regular touch with Agisialos Demetriades (an alleged drug peddler and the brother of Rampal s partner Gabriella Demetriades) who was held by the NCB in October.

Mumbai: The Narcotics Control Bureau (NCB) on Tuesday summoned Bollywood actor Arjun Rampal for questioning in connection with a drug-related case investigation. The actor has been asked to appear before the NCB on December 16.
On November 13, Rampal was grilled by the NCB for around seven hours. He was questioned after the arrest of his Australian friend Paul Bartel in the case.
A report had suggested that Bartel was in regular contact with Agisialos Demetriades, an alleged drug peddler who was held by the NCB in October, and the brother of Gabriella Demetriades, who is the live-in partner of Rampal.
