Two inspirational boys from Powys who have been awarded for their amazing contribution to the community during the pandemic. Jak Savage, seven, and Harry Voice, eight, have been recognised as Little Sunshines by Morrisons supermarket in Newtown as part of its Seeds of Hope campaign. Community Champion Jenny Coppell said she had been looking for children who had been inspiring and considerate and shown great warmth and compassion . Jak, who is from Llanidloes, raised £3,500 for four food banks in Powys by running the equivalent of two marathons over four weeks. His fundraising challenge also helped safeguard his local food bank, Llani Pantri, for another year.
