St David s Day: How is St David s Day celebrated in lockdown?

READ MORE People would often have parties that involve traditional dances and songs like the Welsh National Anthem, Hen Wlad Fy Nhadau (Land Of My Fathers). Many people wear one or both of the national symbols of Wales to celebrate St David: the daffodil or the leek, which was Saint David s personal symbol. Children might wear traditional costumes – for boys, this could be a white shirt, waistcoat and black trousers, and for girls, a petticoat, bonnet and a tall hat. Traditional Welsh food is also enjoyed, such as Te Bach, a Welsh cake. St David s Day: The Welsh flag has been projected on a remote Hungarian castle to mark St David s Day.
