The King Salman bin Abdulaziz Royal Reserve Development Authority (KSRNR) and the National Center for Vegetation Cover Development and Combating Desertification (NCVC) planted one million seedlings of 13 local wild plant species, which the center produced and supplied to the reserve, SPA reported. These plants will contribute to producing oxygen, absorbing tons of carbon dioxide, increase the vegetation cover, and combat sand encroachment.
