A COVID-19 protest rally fizzled on Friday night, with no one gathering at the Pine Plaza parking lot to demonstrate against government actions dealing with novel coronavirus.
The Sault Star was outside The Harp Pub and Grill, the Christmas Day demonstration was promoted on the enterprise’s Facebook page, for about 50 minutes ending at 9:40 p.m. The protest, dubbed Christmas for Truth and Freedom, was to start at 9 p.m. Three people indicated interest in attending on The Harp’s Facebook page. None committed to going.
