Investigating 3 county after two were shot at a party around 3 12 30 yesterday morning. They say the victims were standing behind a vehcile. When several suspects approached them on the 200 block of foxhunt road. They say. One of the suspects fired multiple rounds at the teens. Both victims were shot in the lower body. They are expected to be okay. Anyone with information is asked to call crimestoppers at 1triple 8 crimesc. 3 Authorities Say one man is behind bars after shooting at deputies. Hes 23 year old. Akeem breeland. The incident happened around 11 saturday night on camrose court. Deputies were responding to an aggravated assault. And when they arrived. Investigators say he fired several shots at the deputy. Striking the patrol car multiple times. Investigators say akeen ran into the woods. But was the hospital. That was the case in whitmire. Snow blanketed the ground, making roads slick. Several residents say they were looking forward to seeing the snow but driving in it was a different story. On my street i live on sim street. Its up the road there. And it is slick. I have a 2 year old son so i was excited to hear about it. Its nice to have for a day. Not for months though. County public works crews are continuing to monitor the roads in Newberry County with the help of scdot. They encourage drivers to remain cautious as black ice can form on wet roads as the temperature drops. Scdot is reporting all interstates are open and passable with conditions rapidly improving. But if you plan to travel to the upstate use extreme caution. Black ice could form overnight due to dropping Officials Say many secondary roads in Northern Counties are impassable due to snow more than 55hundred tons of salt are being moved to the upstate dot county facilities to help treat the roads.
