The Royal Highland Showcase, in Partnership with Royal Bank of Scotland, has revealed strong entry figures for its equestrian classes.
Almost 2,000 entries have been confirmed across Heavy Horses, Light Horses and Show Jumping for the livestreamed event, taking place in Edinburgh from June 14 – June 20.
The equestrian classes will be streamed as part of the ‘behind closed doors’ showcase, which will welcome exhibitors from across the UK to shine a spotlight on the best of the country’s horses and ponies, with 1,992 entries received overall.
Light Horse entries total 780, with the M&M Under Saddle class leading the way with 117 entries.
HORSE competitions and displays are always a central part of the Royal Highland Show EQUINE ENTRIES for this year’s Royal Highland Showcase can now be made through the Royal Highland and Agricultural Society of Scotland s online entry portal. Taking place over the week of June 14 to 20, the Showcase, a first of its kind event in the UK, will see the best in livestock judging, equestrian, food and drink and rural skills live-streamed from the Ingliston showground in Edinburgh to a global audience. Entries can now be made online at royalhighlandshow.org for Heavy Horse, Light Horse, Heavy Horse Turnout, Harness Grooming and Decoration, and Private Driving. They will close on May 21.
