heard on the subject telling people in the tea party movement that because the tea party movement is not a party and we have a two-party system they re gonna have to pick a party and run on one or the other. will the tea party movement listen to a to palin or go their own way joining me co-hosts of the geri and fred show. i bet there is nothing you would like more than to see a split in the conservative movement, right? no, not at all. i want everyone to get along. i do, i m all about love and harmony sean. i think it is going to be interesting. my understanding is the tea party people aren t going to be signing up with the democrats any time soon. the last poll i saw something like 78% are registered republicans and the rest are mostly independents, maybe a few dis disaffected
them. sean: you have an inspiring story. it reminded me of my own grandparents they came here in the early part of the last century. your grandfather came in 1899? no, my grandfather was born in 1899. they came from cuba in 58, 59. sean: you tell a story about sitting on the porch with your grandfather. it describes where you are coming from politically. my grandfather used to sit on the porch and tell me stories about baseball, politics and history as he puffed one of his three cigars that he smoked everyday he lived to be 84, by the way. one thing he made clear. i don t remember all the details because it has been 20 some odd years he passed away in 84. one thing he wanted to make clear was because of where he was born because his parents were poor there was only so far he could go. he was limited before he was born by the circumstances of
athlete. sean: it may be contrived. i feel sorry for his children. they are going to read this stuff. i look at his wife, you know she gets photographed picking up a starbucks coffee. i think enough is enough. i think he has a right to earn a living still if they want him on the tour. the former duke rape accuser arrested for attempted murder and arson. here s what never happened in the duke case those professors that you know wrote that letter, everyone jumped the gun on these kids. where was the apologies by everybody? it never came out that i heard. no, it didn t. but the whole case was handled awfully. the prosecutor had issues, the whole thing was an absolute mess. and i m glad it is behind us and clearly she is still having drama. if this isn t redemption i don t know what is for the guys wrongfully accused.
allegiance to either side is going what are you doing with liberty? why is there no reflection from the president on the notion of liberty? why is it all about the collective? why is it all about stuff that the idea of a think tank somewhere? why not just let the people fend for themselves and create for themselves? why is it sean: don t interrupt him, keep going. why is it you insist on making decisions for people? at this point it is becoming dangerously oppressive. the rhetoric coming out of the left at this point is silly. but the continued attempts at this stuff, people resent it. and i don t blame them for resenting it because it is not helpful to people s true aspirations. people now need to be encouraged, uplifted. they don t need a bunch of collectiveist notions they can t relate to which is so abstract yet they know is going to hit them in the
