The water samples and mussels in Port Dickson were contaminated with biotoxins and harmful algae species that caused the food poisoning cases this week.
PORT DICKSON: The public has been advised against consuming mussels and other bivalves from here temporarily following several food poisoning cases believed to be linked to their consumption.
PORT DICKSON: Mussels found in waters off the resort town here have been contaminated by dangerous biotoxins and are not safe for consumption, says the Fisheries Department.
