Kailash Choudhary, hailing from the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP), currently holds the position of Member of Parliament in Barmer. He succeeded Col. Son Ram from the BJP, who assumed office in 2014, and Harish Choudhary from the Congress party, who served in 2009.
