Beltangady, Feb 1: State minister for rural development, K S Eshwarappa, delivered an inflammatory address at a meeting organized at Ujire on Sunday January 31 to congratulate BJP candidates from Beltangady Mandal, who came out victorious in the recent local body election held recently.
Speaking at the meeting, he challenged those who steal the cows to continue with their thefts. We will take them on. A day will come in which we will cut off their hands if they slaughter the cows. If the cow thieves come to your villages, you should sever their limbs duly following legal provisions. The tongues of those who feed on the food of India and raise slogans hailing Pakistan should be sliced off, he stated.
