bjohnson@theintermountain.com MOOREFIELD Police say a mother shot her two children, who both died from the wounds, and then committed suicide Thursday evening. Brandi Baker, 38, of Moorefield, and her nine-month old infant both died from gunshot wounds, officials said. The second child was in critical condition after being transported to Morgantown Medical Center, but then died Friday from the injuries. Moorefield Police Department officers responded to a call of gunshots at a residence on Winchester Avenue at about 6:40 p.m. Thursday evening, according to a MFP press release. Inside the home officers found Baker and the infant, who were pronounced dead at the scene by the Hardy County Medical Examiner.
