(RUTHERFORD COUNTY) There have been two bear sightings reported this weekend in Rutherford County.
The first was Friday night (4/16/2023) in the Green Tree area near Rock Springs in Smyrna.
Shortly before 4:00AM a motion operated security camera photographed a black bear on Blackman Road in Murfreesboro.
The bear stayed in Murfreesboro and was seen before lunch in the Florence Road area subdivision.
Around 4:00PM Saturday afternoon, the bear was wandering businesses alone the Joe B. .
