Milwaukee county sheriff david clarke ordered the park closed every night from 6 00 p. M. To 6 00 a. M. , following the fatal officer involved shooting of Syville Smith exactly three weeks ago. Following that shooting, eight businesses were burned. Others were looted and two people were hurt. Dozens of arrests were made, triggering the closure of the park and a nightly curfew. Milwaukee mayor tom barrett lifted that curfew last week. We are told by the county the park will resume normal hours. We will continue to keep you updated on this breaking news. Rebuild. Reporter there were firefighters that stayed the night last night. They were checking to see if any smoke or flames would rekindle. Firefighters are completely gone off seeing and its hard to see. The relatively minor damage done to the rest of the building, gives the minister hope.
