Despite the COVID-19 pandemic and its devastating impact on jobs across the world, there was a glimmer of hope for Africa and Rwanda in particular in 2021. In April, Rwanda received international recognition as an upcoming Business Process Outsourcing (BPO) location by an international consultancy, Ryan Strategic Advisory. This recognition is an opportunity. By building on this as a first step, Rwanda can strengthen its growing BPO Sector, build on its reputation as stable and hospitable business environment and create thousands of new jobs for its hungry and talented workforce.
