SADA Observes International Ear Care Day March 9, 2021 LAHORE, Pakistan: The Society for Audiological and Developmental Ailments (SADA) recently celebrated the International Ear Care Day at Race Course Park (Jilani Park) in Lahore under the theme “Health Hearing – Happy Life”. The function was started with the recitation of the Holy Quran by the students of Alam School for Speech & Learning. In his opening remarks, the CEO SADA Air Commodore (retd) Inam Ul Haq Raja informed the audience that SADA was established in 2014 to alleviate the sufferings of hearing and speech impaired children. To augment the efforts in this regard, the Alam School for Speech and Learning was established in 2015.

Future of news media ‘digital-first’: speakers MRDI report looks at country’s media viability Staff Correspondent Staff Correspondent With the Covid-19 pandemic having severe impact on the media industry at large in Bangladesh, the future will be digital-first , experts of the field said at a programme yesterday. Management and Resources Development Initiative (MRDI) organised the virtual discussion to launch a report, titled, Leadership or Stagnation: The Future of Media Viability in Bangladesh . It was conducted by MRDI in conjunction with Fojo Media Institute of Sweden. The report was authored by Ross Settles, adjunct professor at the Journalism and Media Studies Centre of Hong Kong University; and Tanim Ahmed, adjunct faculty at the University of Liberal Arts Bangladesh.
