The 2021/2022 anime adaptation of the
Shaman King manga is getting its home video releases handled by King Records in Japan. The series, which is seeing release on Netflix as well as broadcast there, is set for a 52-episode run that will be released across four Blu-ray box sets that begin on August 25th, 2021. Each set is priced at 25,000 yen and has thirteen episodes per set. While we’ve got a bit to go before the first set lands, we now have our look at the cover artwork for the first set. We’ve seen several series resurface in the last few years that came out ages ago that are now getting new and updated adaptations and billing themselves as complete adaptations as the original source material was ongoing when they first aired. The latest one to get this nod is a very popular property with
Shaman King being revealed as on track this past June. With plans for an April 2021 debut, the official site has updated with a pretty welcome addition with Yoko Soumi. Soumi will be taking on the role of Lyserg Diethel for the series which they played in the original run. Check out the updated design below.
