The squabble is over the birthplace of Hanuman. Karnataka claims that Bajrang Bali was born on Anjaneyadri (Anjana’s Hill) in Anegundi, previously Kishkindha (thus the claim), near Hampi. AndhraPradesh says that’s rubbish the Pawanputra was born on the Anjaneyadri-sounding Anjanachalam hills in Tirumala. So, why the sudden tug-of-war with Hanuman’s tail ?
Due to the lack of evidence, many people claim mythological incidents to have happened at their place. One such case is the birthplace of Lord Hanuman.
