JOHANNESBURG - Tshwane trust company liquidator Hannes Muller said he couldn t guarantee that Passenger Rail Agency of South Africa (Prasa) would not have to pay more money to get the 70 locomotives that it wanted when it paid Swifambo Rail.
But he said the liquidators were negotiating a settlement that would benefit the state-owned enterprise for up to R1.5 billion.

Cape Town - THE Jacob Zuma Foundation received R150 000 from one of controversial businessman Auswell Mabundaâs companies, the Commission of Inquiry into State Capture heard on Thursday.
Swifambo Rail Leasing joint liquidator Hannes Muller testified that among the beneficiaries of the millions channelled from the firm and its parent company, Swifambo Rail Holdings, was the Jacob Zuma Foundation, which received R150 000.

Johannesburg - The Zondo commission will continue to hear evidence relating to allegations of corruption at the Passenger Rail Agency of South Africa.
Ryan Marc Sacks, the Director at Crowe Forensics SA (Pty) Ltd, is expected to take the stand.
The commission will also hear evidence from Tshwane Trust Co (Pty) Ltd liquidator Hannes Muller and Director of Swifambo Rail Auswell Mashaba.
On Tuesday, Passenger Rail Agency of SA (Prasa) chairperson Popo Molefe took a swipe at erstwhile transport minister Dipuo Peters’ claims that its board was responsible for the failure to appoint a permanent chief executive.
