HADESTOWN, the multiple Tony Award winning Broadway musical finally made its way to Vancouver this week. Asserting its dominance amongst the rest of the theatre scene in the city, HADESTOWN presented a tragic, thought-provoking love story that sparked the attention of audiences near and far.
The FSCJ Artist Series, sponsored by VyStar Credit Union, presents Hadestown, the winner of eight 2019 Tony Awards including Best New Musical and the 2020 Grammy Award for Best Musical Theater Album, at the Jacksonville Center for the Performing Arts, February 6-11, 2024.
Following a successful sold-out 7-week run this summer, Hadestown, the winner of eight 2019 Tony Awards including Best New Musical and the 2020 Grammy Award for Best Musical Theater Album, will return to Toronto next spring, May 15 – 26, 2024 at the CAA Ed Mirvish Theatre for a strictly limited engagement.
The North American tour of Hadestown returns to the Ahmanson Theatre for a limited 16 performances starting October 3, 2023. Rachel Chavkin directs the cast of Amaya Braganza, Lana Gordon, Will Mann, Matthew Patrick Quinn, J. Antonio Rodriguez, Marla Louissaint, Lizzie Markson, Hannah Schreer, Sevon Askew, Ian Coulter-Buford, KC Dela Cruz, Jamal Lee Harris, Courtney Lauster, Colin LeMoine, Daniel Tracht, Cecilia Trippiedi and Racquel Williams. The newest member of the North American tour, Lana reprises her role of Persephone beginning with this Los Angeles engagement.
Hadestown will come to Albuquerque in 2023. As part of the Popejoy Presents 2023-24 Broadway in New Mexico Season, the show will play Popejoy Hall for seven performances from December 6 - 10. Find out how to get tickets here!
