On Thursday s Backchat: the stamp duty on home purchases is back in the spotlight.
The Financial Secretary has said there are no plans to relax extra taxes for non-permanent residents buying homes in the territory, after Executive Council convenor Regina Ip said it was among policies that could be considered as a way of supporting the local economy and retaining talent.
