Patty s Place in Canandaigua changing with the times — just a little

Canandaigua’s oldest continuously operating restaurant made a few changes for COVID and convenience  CANANDAIGUA Starting Friday, you won’t need cash in your pocket to eat at Patty’s Place. Well, there is an ATM machine in the restaurant in case you’re strapped for cash. But these days most everyone pays with a card of some sort and Patty’s owner, Jenny Shedrick, said it’s time to accept them. As of Dec. 18, Patty’s Place will provide Tap-to-Pay and contactless credit card payment options. But other than that, and a few COVID-related measures, Canandaigua’s oldest continuously operating restaurant is just the same.
