Richmond, Va., Jan. 27, 1870.
Dear Revolution: Leaving Washington early on Tuesday morning after the Convention we found ourselves in Richmond at about half-past two in the afternoon. Looking over the advertised list of hotels, we selected Ford’s which is most delightfully located on the north east side of the
Capitol grounds, and is a very pleasant, quiet, home-like place, where ladies travelling alone are kindly cared for and made to feel as guests rather than strangers.
We observed, as we drove along, vast crowds of colored people gathered to the Capitol grounds, and inquired of the stately negroes who received us what the demonstrations meant?

POTSDAM - The State University of New York at Potsdam will recognize the Class of 2021 during a series of ceremonies to mark the College s 201st Commencement on Saturday, May 22. SUNY Potsdam will honor graduates with a series of three livestreamed socially-distanced ceremonies, including special recognition of virtual graduates joining the celebration from afar.

.-Von Bartha is presenting the fourth edition of The Imaginary Collection, an ongoing series of temporary exhibitions with works from the gallerys archive, curated by independent collectors and presented within unique spaces. The fourth edition sees Danish Art Advisor Caroline Bøge curate Take the Stage, her imaginary collection, featuring works by 12 international artists presented at 2112 in Copenhagen, 5 May 26 June 2021.
